Henry is an Old English Sheepdog. Born on October 17th 2004, he is already becoming a star attraction at the Carter Notch Inn. Sally & Dick have had to learn to take 2nd place when guests depart with the words “we’ll be back to see Henry!” Henry is considered a working dog, although he is no longer expected to herd sheep in the way of his forefathers – no, Henry’s job is to greet guests, be played with & patted a lot! At the time of writing this, the only problem is that he loves his job so much, taking him for walks can be a challenge, as every time he sees a person, no matter how far away, his behind starts to wag (as he has no tail) & he desperately tries to greet them. Henry has not yet learned that he does not have play with everyone. For more information about Old English Sheepdogs, visit Henry's Property Laws
